Location: Charlottesville, VA | Schedule: Afternoon/Evening Dispatch
Pay: Starting at $17.55/HR + increase every 6 months (Average 10 hours overtime per week)

• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• $1,000 Referral Bonus

Join our team as a  Driver Helper , where you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely deliveries to our customers. You'll work alongside our drivers to provide exceptional service, help load/unload products, and support safe vehicle operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Ride along in the passenger seat to assist the driver throughout daily routes
• Load and unload products at customer locations using a hand truck, pallet jack, or manually
• Ensure products match invoices and meet customer expectations
• Assist in organizing, securing, and handling returned items such as trays, crates, totes, and pallets
• Spot and guide the driver to safely maneuver the vehicle
• Support with route paperwork and documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment at all times

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written/verbal instructions
• Ability to lift 10–50 lbs regularly, push/pull up to 150 lbs, and work on your feet for most of the shift
• Comfortable working in refrigerated environments and varying temperatures
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Previous experience in food distribution or handling frozen products is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting, and reaching
• Ability to work in cold storage and on delivery trucks with multiple temperature zones
• Ability to kneel, crouch, and climb occasionally
