Position Title: Drilling Machine Operator

Wage: $18.00 - $25.00/hour

Shift: 1st, 2nd or 3rd

Hours: Flexible

Drilling Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Set up equipment
- Use various measurement devices (micrometer, caliper, comparator, etc.)
- Move production containers to appropriate next operation (forklift / pallet jack)
- Complete daily production paperwork
- Update setup sheets when appropriate and make machine adjustments to production changes
- Maintain clean work area

Requirements for Drilling Machine Operator:
- High School Diploma or GED, or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least five years of experience in drilling machine setup operation
- Previous experience operating forklift
- Proficient communication skills
- Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Highly motivated, self-directed and customer service oriented
- Organizational skills
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Good problem solving skills
- Able to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs
- Able to stand for 8-10 hours / day
- Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
- Basic computer skills for inspection data entry
