Job location: UW - Madison, Wisconsin. This is a part-time, entry-level dishwasher role within Levy’s kitchen team, supporting a fast-paced food service operation. Job Summary As a Dishwasher with Levy at UW - Madison, you’ll help maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. Your attention to detail ensures that dishes, cookware, and kitchen areas are spotless, following the highest standards of sanitation and safety. If you’re a team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced, essential role, we want you on our kitchen team! Key Responsibilities Scrape, rinse, and wash dishes, pots, pans, and trays, ensuring thorough cleaning and sanitation. Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces to maintain a sanitary environment. Remove trash and waste, place it in designated containers, and wash garbage cans to maintain a hygienic kitchen space. Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times. Sweep and mop kitchen floors to keep them clean and safe. Maintain the dishwashing area; ensure equipment is functioning properly and report issues to the supervisor. Assist with other tasks as assigned to support overall cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen. Qualifications Restaurant experience is preferred. Ability to stand for long hours and lift/move 20-40 lbs. Strong willingness to contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment. Must be available to work nights and weekends.
