Summary :

As a senior member of the leadership team, the Director of Product Management will lead a team of product managers overseeing multiple product lines. In this highly visible role, you will have product-level P&L ownership while driving revenue and margin improvements cross-functionally. Through a strong pulse on the market, you will establish product vision and strategies that resonate across the organization and market. This position requires a strong product leader that is an innovative thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset who is obsessed with the market and delivering results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Own the product P&L providing cross-functional oversight to ensure the highest level of customer and end user satisfaction.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams influencing key stakeholders to achieve targeted outcomes.
• Develop and execute the overall strategy for the company’s product portfolio encompassing both existing and new offerings.
• Lead and mentor a team of product managers and product specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Conduct market analysis, customer segmentation, and competitive assessments to identify market trends, opportunities, and portfolio gaps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps, feature enhancements, VA/VE initiatives, and product differentiation strategies.
• Monitor product performance including revenue, profitability, and market share to make data-driven decisions to optimize portfolio performance.
• Build strong relationships with key customers and market influencers to strengthen the Ruskin brand and identify development opportunities.
• Strong pulse of market by being deeply involved with trade associations.
• Direct reports will be a team of 6-9.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field from an accredited four-year College or University. Master’s degree is a plus.
• 10+ years product management with supervisory experience, preferably in the HVAC industry.
• Proven track record in new product development and investment justification.
• Experience in market research and analysis.
