Responsibilities:

1. Administer and maintain computerized databases, ensuring high availability, efficiency, and data security.


2. Analyze information requirements and develop specifications for database design and maintenance.


3. Manage source code within the environment and provide guidance on policies, technical issues, and data structure strategies.


4. Collaborate with data center teams to maintain and upgrade Unix/Linux and Microsoft Windows servers and operating systems.


5. Perform system and network programming, software maintenance, security administration, and backup/recovery processes.


6. Oversee daily operations of assigned systems and shared infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and system reliability.


7. Monitor and improve service performance through system tuning, database tuning, development refreshes, and application upgrades.


8. Administer QAD applications and related system environments.


9. Maintain Unix/Linux printing, Samba services, and source control systems.


10. Support users and manage scheduling tasks via Cron and Windows batch tools.


11. Create and maintain Unix/Linux scripts and configure kernels as needed.


12. Manage Active Directory groups and assist with patching/security on Windows application servers.


13. Participate in planning, execution, and documentation of new systems or upgrades to meet project standards.


14. Participate in compliance activities like the annual Self-Assessment Template (ASAT).


15. Coordinate with global teams to streamline compliance efforts across systems and infrastructure.


16. Deliver consistent IT service in a rapidly evolving technical environment.


17. Coordinate across local, business unit, and centralized IT resources.


18. Balance multiple projects and priorities with limited resources.
