We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Clarkston, Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering and managing a high volume of data while supporting customer service operations. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for growth and long-term employment.

Responsibilities:
• Accurately input purchase orders and other high-volume data into the Prophet 21 (P21) system.
• Provide customer service support by assisting with inquiries and resolving issues as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations and provide backup support for colleagues when they are unavailable.
• Learn and adapt quickly to the Prophet 21 software and other internal systems.
• Maintain organized and accurate records to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth data and order processing.
• Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies in data or documentation.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data verification and reporting purposes.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry or a related role.
• Proficiency in entering numeric and alphanumeric data with a high degree of accuracy.
• Familiarity with the Prophet 21 (P21) software or similar systems is strongly preferred.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data handling and reporting.
• Comfortable working in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and processes.
