Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team in mid-Michigan. This is a hybrid position requiring on-site presence twice a week. Remote-only candidates will not be considered.

Qualified candidates will be required to complete an on-site assessment in Lansing, MI. Virtual interviews may also be conducted, with proper identification verification required.

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in developing complex database systems
• 8+ years of experience with Databricks
• 8+ years of experience with Elastic search and Kibana
• 8+ years of proficiency in Python/Scala
• 8+ years of experience with Oracle databases
• 5+ years of experience in Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes and Data Pipeline engineering
• 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud services
• 5+ years of experience in data warehousing, data visualization, and ensuring data integrity
• 5+ years of experience with CMM/CMMI Level 3 methods and practices
• 5+ years of experience in agile development processes, including test-driven development

Compensation: Up to $90/hour

Contract Duration: 1 year with potential for extension
