As a DBA at the 513 EWS you configure, service & maintain the SQL Server network and storage capabilities supporting activities of the customer. Your additional duty responsibilities as a FSA at the 513 EWS will be to maintain a fully operational and reliable computer systems, to include fixing network issues, managing sufficient workflow capability; as well as, updating equipment, configuration and software. (12v1) Essential Job Functions: Experience with MS SQL Servers 2016 and 2019 Using SQL Server Management Studio 17 and 18 Installing and configuring Backups and restores Always on Availability Groups T‑SQL Scripting Security configurations (preferred experience with DISA STIGS) Have experience configuring SQL Server hardware to use Network Attached Storage Have an understanding of NetApp as external storage for SQL Server Database Administer production, development, and testing environments in a complex, heterogeneous, cross‑platform environment. Maintain servers, security implementations, monitor server performance and stability, and ensure efficient and effective operations Provide engineering, systems analysis, design, development, documentation, and creation of enterprise systems to ensure appropriate implementation and performance of all assigned systems and products and to ensure new emerging systems are being deployed in accordance with Information Assurance requirements. Administer continual maintenance and ensure consistent operations of a large variety of Windows servers and applications. Provide the highest level of back‑end or Tier 3 support by identifying, prioritizing, and determining a solution for reported customer issues and problems. Required Skills: U.S. Citizenship is required (due to sensitivity of customer requirements) Active DoD Secret level clearance; ability to maintain clearance during employment. Bachelors degree in technical related curriculum from an accredited university / branch of service and applicable Certifications with 8+ years Systems Administration experience to include Windows Server 2016, 2019.
