A-Line Staffing is Hiring Fully Remote Credentialing Specialist in California!

We are seeking a  Credentialing Specialist  to support and assist with credentialing functions. This is a fully remote, short-term assignment with the potential for extension or conversion based on performance and business needs.

Credentialing Specialist Compensation

• The pay for this position is $23.00/hr
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Credentialing Specialist Highlights

• The required availability for this position Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM PST or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM PST
• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs (yearlong contract to start!)

Credentialing Specialist Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the credentialing/re-credentialing queue for various healthcare providers.
• Prepare and organize credentialing files and documentation.
• Draft and send credentialing-related correspondence in alignment with department workflows.
• Respond to credentialing status inquiries from internal teams and external partners.
• Provide administrative support for the Credentialing department.
• Ensure files are audit-ready and properly prepared for Credentialing Committee meetings.
• Conduct primary source verifications and save/organize documentation accurately.
• Process internal and external email communications and research provider information as needed.

Credentialing Specialist Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of credentialing or call center experience.
• Familiarity with CAQH, NPDB, and state healthcare regulations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective time management and task prioritization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience supporting credentialing functions in a healthcare or insurance environment.
