We are seeking a passionate and experienced Cosmetology Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various cosmetology techniques and have a desire to educate and inspire the next generation of beauty professionals. This role involves teaching students the fundamentals of cosmetology, including practical skills, theory, and industry best practices in a dynamic learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cover essential cosmetology topics.
• Instruct students in practical applications such as hair coloring, body waxing, barbering, and aesthetic treatments.
• Provide hands-on training in advanced techniques including dermabrasion, trigger point therapy, hair extensions, and esthetic laser treatment.
• Assess student performance through evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters learning.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements to ensure curriculum relevance.
• Assist in the administration of program compliance with state regulations and accreditation standards.

Skills

• Proficient in various cosmetology techniques including body waxing, hair extensions, barbering, aesthetic treatments, dermabrasion, trigger point therapy, and esthetic laser treatment.
• Strong knowledge of hair coloring techniques and products.
• Experience in adult education or teaching is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students.
• Ability to demonstrate practical skills clearly and effectively.
• Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities and student assessments.
• A valid cosmetology license is required.
