Controls Engineer

On Site- Bridgeville, PA

Direct Hire

Travel to Client sites required. (50 to 75% - local travel)

$90,000.00- $110,000.00 based on experience + benefits

Description:

• Leads the design, development, and implementation of automation and control systems for industrial machinery and processes
• Design and develop new control systems, including PLC programming, HMI development, and control system integration.
• Develope new processes and strategies for automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical guidance and direction.
• Write and debug PLC code. Test and commission systems
• Other duties as warranted.

Required Experience

• 5+ years of experience with industrial controls engineering.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and related technologies
• SCADA Control Panels – Allen Bradley, Siemens, Ignition by Inductive Automation, GE, Wonderware
• Programming in various protocols – Allen Bradley, Siemens, Modicon, GE and Ignition (Inductive Automation)
• Advanced PLC programming skills
• Experience with projects with multiple processes
• Supporting customers onsite
• Strong knowledge of control panels and VFDs
• Demonstrated success in managing projects
• AutoCAD design experience preferred.
• A Bachelors degree in electrical or electro-mechanical engineering preferred
