We're looking for a strategic, hands-on Controller to lead our accounting and payroll operations, deliver high-impact financial insights, and support key HR functions. What You’ll Own:
✅ End-to-end accounting: GL, A/P, A/R, payroll, fixed assets, and inventory
✅ Month/quarter/year-end close and GAAP-compliant financial reporting
✅ Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
✅ Internal controls, compliance, and audit readiness
✅ Financial analysis, variance reporting, and strategic insights
✅ Banking relationships and cash management
✅ Settlement disbursements (attorney fees, expenses, bonuses)
✅ HR support: hiring, onboarding, PTO, benefits, insurance
What We’re Looking For:
🎓 Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (Master’s a plus); CPA preferred
🧠 8–10 years of experience, with 3–5 years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role
⚖️ Deep understanding of US GAAP and strong technical accounting skills
👥 Proven leadership ability and team development experience
🛠️ Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, etc.) + advanced Excel
📊 Experience with payroll platforms (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Paycor)
🧩 Bonus: Legal industry or HR/operations experience
