My client is seeking a Superintendent to lead on-site operations for large-scale commercial, institutional, and government construction projects. This role demands a detail-oriented professional with a strong command of field coordination, safety compliance, and schedule management in technically demanding environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring alignment with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Manage subcontractors and field personnel to maintain productivity, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate closely with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
• Enforce strict compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and site cleanliness.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure all work meets jurisdictional and contractual requirements.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, field documentation, and progress tracking.
• Lead site meetings with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize delays and cost impacts.
• Mentor and supervise Assistant Superintendents and field staff.
• Support commissioning, punch list completion, and project closeout activities.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial, institutional, or government construction.
• Proven ability to manage complex job sites with multiple trades and technical requirements.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, building codes, and quality control practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software and scheduling tools.
