This is a full-time on-site role for a Commercial Multiline Underwriter located in Summit, NJ. The Commercial Multiline Underwriter will be responsible for evaluating and analyzing risks for commercial insurance policies, developing underwriting strategies, and maintaining relationships with brokers and agents. Day-to-day tasks include assessing risk factors, determining policy terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines, and regularly reviewing and updating underwriting policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with underwriting policies and procedures. Regularly review and update underwriting policies and procedures. Maintain relationships with brokers and agents. Qualifications Experience in risk assessment, policy analysis, and underwriting strategies. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong relationship‑building and interpersonal skills. Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Insurance, or related field is preferred. Relevant certification (e.g., CPCU, ARM) is a plus.
