In this Clerk 2 position, you will be one of the first individuals that our community members will interact with when they need the transportation services we offer. Our team will rely on you to provide a positive first impression and consistently effective customer service. This vital role works independently to complete tasks assigned by the team (Director, Operations Manager). You will dispatch drivers and vehicles, answer phones, schedule trips, appropriately route calls, and maintain electronic and written records. Proficiency in using a computer and tablet is key for success in these important duties. Your responsibilities will also include developing and maintaining a good operational understanding of the Wayne County Transportation System.
