About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join their dynamic and fast-paced environment. The CISO will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership in the development and implementation of security policies and controls. This hands-on role involves interfacing with senior management to ensure the organization's cyber security strategy is in line with business and IT service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of experience in leading information security programs, developing policies, and implementing controls, with a strong understanding of relevant technologies and protocols. Key responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, proposing mitigation strategies, and ensuring the effectiveness of security safeguards. The CISO will also support the CIO in managing IT security and compliance, and work with various IT and business functions to identify and address security risks. Applicants for the CISO position at the company should be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills. A background in digital and information technology, as well as experience in data privacy, SOC, and ISO27001, is essential. The role requires a leader who can act as a technical security lead, with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Experience in multinational settings, particularly with mid-sized and small companies, is a plus. The CISO will be expected to have a strong technical background in security components such as network, firewall, VPN, and system security controls, with a focus on white-hat experience.
