Job Title: Certified Nursing Attendant – Long Term Care

Address: Brooklyn, NY 11203

Shift: 6:45 - 3:15 /3:00 - 11:15p/ 11p - 7:00p

Contract: 15 weeks

Pay rate: $20 to $24

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Attendants to join our long-term care team in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidates will provide direct patient care and support services to ensure comfort, safety, and dignity for all residents in the facility. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the daily lives of patients within a supportive healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide routine personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and attending to residents’ individual needs.
• Assist patients with feeding, meal preparation, and mobility as needed.
• Take and record accurate vital signs, temperatures, pulse, and respirations.
• Safely transfer patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, and stretchers using appropriate techniques and equipment (including Hoyer lifts).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in patient rooms and work areas.
• Assist in collecting specimens and maintaining proper documentation according to policy.
• Support nursing staff with daily routines and contribute to a positive, safe care environment.
• Uphold facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Certification: Active New York State Certification as a Nursing Attendant (required).
• Experience: No prior experience required—training provided!
• Ability to lift, move, and assist patients safely.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
