Job Description
LHH is seeking an experienced Billing Coordinator to join a growing behavioral health organization. This role combines intake, insurance verification, and medical billing responsibilities to streamline revenue cycle management and support multiple clinic locations.
Responsibilities:
Manage client intake, including insurance verification, authorizations, and accurate data entry.
Submit claims to insurance companies, follow up on denials, and handle appeals.
Collect co-pays and process credit card transactions efficiently.
Communicate with therapists, BCBAs, and clinic staff to resolve billing and coding questions.
Monitor and update client insurance information to prevent billing errors and lost revenue.
Use Central Reach software for billing and administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
A minimum 2–3 years of medical billing experience, especially with insurance PPO/HMO, AHCCCS, and Arizona Developmental Disabilities Dept (DDD).
Skilled in intake and pre-billing processes, with strong attention to detail.
Familiarity with Central Reach or similar billing software.
Effective communicator, able to collaborate with providers and internal teams.
Background in behavioral health, OT, or related fields preferred.
Ability to work independently and take initiative to improve processes.
Location: Phoenix, AZ 850012 Hybrid 90% remote- must be willing to go ONSITE for meetings 2-3x a month
