A Brief Overview Acquire skills to evaluate insurance risk, identify property and liability exposures, and provide risk management services. Work under supervision on small to moderate assignments. What You Will Do Develop knowledge of risk evaluation and improvement techniques. Participate in underwriting surveys to assess business operations and exposures. Evaluate fire protection systems and safety programs. Identify controls to reduce loss potential. Analyze loss data to identify trends and prioritize service needs. Create recommendations to reduce exposures. Learn to influence policyholder safety decisions. Prepare reports for policyholders and internal teams. Gain understanding of property casualty insurance practices. Learn marketing and relationship-building skills. Develop effective training and sales presentations. Apply logical thinking to problem-solving. Work harmoniously with others and respond positively to feedback. Maintain professionalism and perform other duties as assigned. Education Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred, in occupational safety, engineering, or related field. Skills And Abilities Willing to pursue professional designations such as CSP, ARM, AFIS, CPCU. Effective communication skills in writing and speaking. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and proprietary systems. Valid driver’s license in good standing. The salary range is $66,171.73 - $82,714.67, with adjustments based on experience and location.
