Graphic Artist for Apparel

Job Summary:

The  Graphic Designer  will create and manage the development of artwork; which includes creating and rotating graphics, sizing, color callouts, and printing technique call outs of time-sensitive vendor communication materials.

Skills and Requirements

• Must send portfolio LINK or pdf to be considered
• 2-4 years of experience within the Fashion Industry
• Understanding of screen print and embellishment techniques and process.
• Possess good sense of layouts, fonts and color
• Team player with the ability to handle a fast paced work environment.
• Ability to work independently under general direction
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and multi-task.
• Proficient with the following programs: Adobe Creative Suite: Advanced skills in Illustrator and Photoshop
• Bachelor's Degree in Arts or related field preferred

Specific Responsibilities:

• Work with Design Director and design team to create and support graphic artwork and production for factories
• Collaborate with the design team to execute final artwork placement and adhere to licensor's specifications.
• Ability to translate sketches into art sheets for production.
• Strong typography and layout skills.
• Has a strong work ethic and focused on attention to detail.
