The Advanced Specialty Staff RN - Medical Forensic Nurse provides compassionate, timely care for patients undergoing medical-forensic exams, including STI prophylaxis, photographic documentation, and referrals for follow-up care. This role requires completion of specialized forensic nursing certification and licensed nursing experience. The position supports a patient-focused healthcare environment within a large multi-state healthcare organization.
Description
The forensic nurse examiner will provide timely, compassionate care to patients seeking medical-forensic exams in accordance with established protocols. This will include completing a medical-forensic exam, providing prophylaxis for pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections, photographic documentation, and completing referrals for appropriate medical and psychological follow-up.
